At the time of this review, the tool was still in gamma testing, so it's better the use the content for mockups and practice only, or at least make thorough testing before applying these to any productive environment.

        Typicons are free-to-use vector icons embedded in a web font for easy use in your interfaces, whether it is on the web or a native application. The set of icons is available on Github, with everything included from the source files in SVG format to the minified CSS. You can even use this project to build your own custom version of icons. This version adds 220 icons with solid and outline styles.

      • Erler Dingbats: Complete Unicode Font

        A rework of the FF Dingbats 2.0 font created as a special collaboration between designers Johannes Erler and Henning Skibbe. It features all types of icons for everyday communications and interfaces, all with an elegant and consistent style.

      • Open Iconic: Vector Webfont Icon Set

        Open Iconic is a huge package with over 200 icons for use in web or design projects. They come in a wide variety of formats, including SVG, PNG, OTF and others. It's meant to be extremely legible on any size and lightweight, taking almost a quarter of the space Font Awesome does.

      • JustVector Social Icon Font

        An awesome set of social icons in vector format (perfect for high-resolution displays and responsive projects). This is actually a rework of the first version, utilizing much better techniques to make the process faster and produce a polished result in the end.

      • Entypo+: SVG Pictogram Icons

        Entypo+ is a set of 400+ carefully crafted pictograms. This is the third version of this set and it only consists now of SVG, no PSD or font files, though it's suggested to use resources as Fontello to create fonts. The pictograms were created by Daniel Bruce and they're are licensed under Creative Commons BY-SA 4.0 and the font under SIL Open Font License.

      • IcoMoon App: Free Web Fonts

        This online app allows you to add, create, modify and delete icon fonts from vector source files. The editing process allows you to add tags to every icon and modify rotation, vertical axis, scaling, movement and more. Once you're done, it's possible to download your creation completely for free.

      • Ligature Symbols: CSS Web Font

        Ligature Symbols is a complete collection of icon fonts with lots of symbols for countless purposes including social networks and tablet and mobile interfaces. The font was created by Kazuyuki Motoyama and is licensed under the SIL Open Font License.
