List of web elements with playful concept.

  • Derived from Glaurung 2.1, Stockfish is a free open-source engine for Chess Games with support for Syzygy Bases. While it’s not a complete Chess Program per se (requires UCI compatible GUI in order to be used comfortably) it’s still worth checking out for anyone working on building a Chess game or app.

  • ‘2D JavaScript physics engine for cross-platform HTML5 game development’

  • ‘RPG-Awesome is a free fantasy themed icon font and CSS toolkit with 495 vectors ideal for games’ apps, it can be totally customized to fit your own projects. You can change size, color, drop shadow or you can do anything that can be done with the power of CSS, it’s licensed under SIL OFL 1.1′

  • An open source game-making application for Indie titles featuring real-time collaboration, powerful-intuitive tools enforced by Typescript. Outcoming games can be published on PC, Mac, Linux, iOS and Android and of course, they run in recent Web.browsers too!

  • Jukedeck is a platform to create your own unique tracks to use in your videos, games, or anything else you’re making. You can make a track in seconds, and you don’t need to be a musician to do it. Every track is unique and completely royalty-free.

  • Polycode is completely free and open source (MIT license), with all development happening publicly on Github. Its core is written in C++ and currently runs on Mac, Windows and Linux with iOS and Android support planned in the future.

  • pixi.js is a cool framework written in JavaScript that allows you to create lightweight yet powerful 2D multiplatform games, apps, animations and more. The aim of it is to take advantage of hardware acceleration without previous knowledge of webGL. It is a 2D webGL renderer with canvas fallback that you can integrate into your projects to make them interactive and cool. It is free.

  • jsdares is an experimental educational programming environment. You can learn by playing “dares” created by other users, or explore the “computational universe” on your own. If you already know programming, you can create dares and share them with the world.

  • A comprehensive path-finding library in javascript. The aim of this project is to provide a path-finding library that can be easily incorporated into web games. It may run on Node.js or the browser.

  • Control Template NES console. The game controller used for both the NES and the Famicom featured an oblong brick-like design with a simple four button layout: two round buttons labeled “A” and “B”, a “START” button and a “SELECT” button.

  • Preview in a football match. Form design ideal for sports-style video game. The highlights and shadows are amazing.

  • Case Nintendo Game Boy. Very well made details that make this template very realistic. Many gamers remember this device as one of its first pocket consoles.
