Converse.js is an open source, and free chat client based on XMPP for websites. It run on any browser and can be integrated into any website easily. It works like the Facebook chat, but you can create multiple chat rooms.

It can connect to any XMPP/Jabber server whether it is public or one you set up yourself. Among its features you can find:
